The Fisherman’s cottage is over 100 years old but has been lovingly updated with all mod cons. Smart TVs in all rooms, free unlimited wifi, fresh interiors and a perfect location. The cottage is on one of the oldest and most picturesque streets in the Old Town of Sitges. It’s is often the route for the major festivals and is full of character with all the festivities on those special fiestas. The flowers which Sitgeans arrange on the pavements for Corpus Christi are laid right outside the door. In spite of being so close to the heart of town and so near the centre – a five min max walk – and near many shops and restaurants – the street is residential and relatively quiet after 11pm. You can walk about 100 steps and be on the San Sebastián beach (very family friendly) with an amazing view of the Mediterranean. Balmins, a beautiful cove, is about ten minutes walk away passing by many lovely seafront restaurants and a beautiful church on the way. You are minutes away from the Maricel Museum and Cau Ferret which was home to the Spanish painter Santiago Rousinol and the iconic Santa Tecla church. The main promenade with many more beautiful beaches stretching along the coast and the “street of sin” where all the nightlife is mainly situated are ten minutes leisurely walk max. I love the atmosphere of the fisherman’s cottage and it’s wonderful location and I hope to welcome you to so you can share the special experience.
The whole home is accessible to guests. The ground floor has a kitchen and small shower room which serves those staying on the very comfortable sofa bed on the floor above. The living room with smart TV contains the sofa bed. The next two floors contain the two ensuite bedrooms both with smart TV, one with a glass roof(with automatic blind) to look at the stars at night. On the attic floor is a small toilet, and laundry facilities and a little chill out zone.
The fisherman’s cottage is a historic building over five floors with stairs.
